This last week I did a talk on fasting called All About Fasting. It’s a short and quick introduction to fasting and all its benefits.
Note that I left out one item which is about when you come out of a longer fast, like more than one day of not eating. Sometimes it is good to prepare the digestive system to receive food again. So, for some, jumping right back into solid foods may cause problems. It may be a good idea to ease into it, with more liquid, soft forms first like bone broth or other soups before going straight back into normal foods.
